In November 2013 I signed a lease with a tenant who moved into my unit with his partner. The lease was done through a managing agent, and the lease has an alternative address should they be evicted and a surety in case of none payment. The Lease lapsed in April 2015, was extended to October 2015 (i do not have a copy of the extension addendum). The primary tenant lost his job in October 2015 and stopped paying rent, and won’t move out. He currently owes R45K, and there is a valid surety on the lease. I need help with eviction and collection on contingent.
