On 29 August 2013 whilst on duty at Pinetown Police Station I was arrested on charges of fraud under Pinetown cas: 379/02/2013. I was charged and detained in Pinetown Police Station cells. On 30 August 2013 I appeared in Pinetown Magistrates court and charges against me were withdrawn by the court.

Since the withdrawal of my charges I have never been summoned to court. I have since made numerous attempts to have my fingerprints cleared with SAPS to no avail. My first attempt was to liaise with investigating officer Warrant Officer R Moodley who informed me that my fingerprints could not be cleared due to the fact that there was another separate criminal matter pending against myself, dating as far back as 2012 of which I am not aware of and have never received any summons for it.

On my further attempt I spoke to the Branch commander of Pinetown detectives who advised me that he has been informed by the investigating Officer that the docket has been sent to Pretoria for further investigation and therefore could not assist me. I then wrote a letter on 01 August 2014 to Pinetown SAPS station commander, Pinetown Cluster commander, Pinetown Detective branch commander and Fingerprints Provincial office Durban. To all the above mentioned letters no response was received and I have been waiting for feedback ever since.
